With over twenty (20) years experience in the Entertainment industry, Delicia’s early industry participation include being a member of several choirs, a dance group member for both cultural shows and concerts, and even being crowned Carnival Queen in a local pageant. These early activities lead the path for her career. During her formative years, this former Altar Server challenged herself to expand her creative persona.
Delicia also worked at the Piarco International Airport where one of her proudest moments was being part of the official team that welcomed President Nelson Mandela’s private flight when he visited Trinidad & Tobago in 2004. After completing training in Cosmetology, Public Relations, Radio Broadcasting and Production, Delicia started her employment with Entertainer/ Entrepreneur Neil ‘Iwer’ George at Trinibashment 91.9fm Ltd as a News Presenter/ Editor. She also did a short stint on Synergy TV while pursuing other business ventures like owning her own makeup company. Delicia also served on a number of promotional committees for local nightclubs, private parties and concerts.
After her hiatus from the field of Entertainment, Delicia has continued to leverage her customer collaboration skills by working in Customer Service and Account Management at a financial institution. She realised her true passion of being an Entrepreneur was not being fulfilled and subsequently left. Delicia then qualified herself as a professional Hairdresser shortly before returning to the Entertainment industry.
Ms. Patterson is now the proud owner of Dimedia, a Consultancy and Management company where she provides Talent Management, Event Management & Production and Artiste Management among other services. She is also the Founder of Music Business Principles. Additionally, we can look forward to Delicia being one of the new Directors of a Non-Profit Organisation, D.O.T.T.
Ms. Patterson considers herself an advocate for youths and the pioneer in the Arts & Entertainment industry.
